Nicole Wilson is scholar of settler origin, whose work examines the relationship between Indigenous peoples, the environment and governance. She is currently a PhD Candidate in the Institute for Resource, Environment and Sustainability at the University of British Columbia. She works with Terre Satterfield (Supervisor), Leila Harris (IRES), Glen Coulthard (FNIS and Political Science) and Jordi Honey-Roses (SCARP). She is a member of several research groups including Satterfield Lab and EDGES Research Collaborative
